Mleczarnia OSM Krasnystaw Okręgowa Spółdzielnia Mleczarska in Krasnystaw (the Krasnystaw Regional Dairy Cooperative) has long been recognised as one of the leading dairy producers, as proven by the numerous awards and distinctions received by specialists in this field.
In 1987 the Cooperative received the "1" award for quality, for its "extra butter" and an award from the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation for outstanding export achievements (the 66th largest exporter in the country).

For the last four years OSM Krasnystaw has been the region's leading producer of dairy products.
The firm's strong position, the high quality and wide range of our products in addition to their price suited to all pockets, are advantages which make possible new investment, gaining new customers and winning new markets.
The years 2000-2001 were a period of expansion for the firm in the direction of the Western chains entering the Polish market. OSM Krasnystaw products can be found on supermarket shelves throughout the whole of Poland, being distributed by chains such as Metro, Geant, Auchan, Carrefour, Ahold, E.Leclerc. Thanks to distribution through these chains, the Dairy Cooperative in Krasnystaw has gone from being just a regional firm into a nationwide one.
A happy note connected with the gaining of new Clients has been the sale of OSM Krasnystaw products in the USA, where our yoghurts and cheeses are enjoying ever greater popularity. New investment, above all the opening of a new production line for twarog cheese made using the modern ultra-filtration method, must also be counted as a success of recent years.

An important date in the firm's history was the introduction in November 2001 of the ISO 9001 Quality System and certification in the HACCP System to Danish standard DS.3027. The certification audit was carried out by BVQI Veritas, a firm accredited in most countries throughout the world.
